We love this interview with God Loves Uganda’s director Roger Ross Williams for the Catskill Mountains Film Festival!
When God Loves Uganda’s director Roger Ross Williams set in motion an outreach campaign for the film, he never guessed the impact it would end up having.
“I initially wanted to launch a dialogue in the United States,” says Williams. “I hadn’t realized we could start a dialogue in Africa too,” the director explained in an industry talk on ‘The Future of Outreach and Engagement’ on Monday.

This week God Loves Uganda celebrates its Australian premiere at the Canberra International Film Festival!
Today the Canberra Times wrote: “Director Roger Ross Williams’ eye-opening film examines how Uganda has become an American evangelical Bible project – complete with better schools, improved medicine and plenty of bigotry.”
God Loves Uganda screens on November 5th, 2013, at Canberra’s Arc Cinema. Get your tickets here.
